What changed from Classic?
Selected behavior changes described in Blizzard’s September 13 Deep Dive. This is not a complete rank-by-rank Classic dataset.
Will of the Forsaken
Classic Era
Removes Charm, Fear and Sleep and provides an immunity period.
Forever
Removes those effects without the immunity period.
Breaking one effect does not protect you from an immediate follow-up.
Cannibalize
Classic Era
Restores Health from a nearby eligible corpse.
Forever
Restores Mana as well as Health.
Mana-using classes gain another recovery option, but it still needs a corpse and uninterrupted time.
Sources & scope
Blizzard’s Deep Dive explains the racial redesign and new class combinations. Ability text and class lists are adapted from Talents Forever’s September 18 export, attributed under CC BY 4.0. Game text and artwork belong to Blizzard Entertainment. These community records are not a Blizzard API or our own gameplay tests. Priest-specific racial spells need a separate class reference and are not included here.
The latest export corrects some descriptions and faction assignments. An export correction alone does not establish a new game balance change. No race is ranked as universally best.
