The people behind the stories
Know what you’re sharing.
Your connected roster, your public posts and the drafts on your device are different things. Here’s how WoW Scroll handles them.
Updated September 15, 2026 · WoW Scroll is run by Kyle. Contact Kyle about your data.
Your account and connected characters
WoW Scroll uses Supabase for sign-in and account storage. Signing in can provide account identifiers, an email address and provider profile information. Connecting a Battle.net roster is a separate step used to retrieve your characters.
Your email, provider account identifiers and full connected roster are not public profile fields. Private roster snapshots are refreshed or expire; disconnecting removes the private connection and roster projections. It does not delete your WoW Scroll login or posts you already published.
Session cookies keep you signed in. Account and roster requests use authentication; private responses are kept out of shared caches.
What other people can see
Your chosen public display name, handle, bio and content you publish can be visible to others. Public posts, replies, photos, reactions and reposts are part of the community. Notifications are scoped to their recipient.
A block changes signed-in visibility and interactions. It cannot prevent someone from viewing otherwise-public content while signed out, or remove copies they already made.
Session time limits
Sign-in ends after 60 minutes without activity, or seven days after signing in, whichever comes first. Interaction in a visible tab keeps an active session going within that seven-day limit. Background loading does not extend it. Signing out or reaching a time limit preserves your drafts and preferences on this device.
Drafts and preferences on your device
The browser keeps local drafts and preferences such as selected worlds and saved items. Drafts may include text and an attached photo. They are not public posts until publishing succeeds.
Discarding a draft or completing publication clears its draft record. Clearing your browser’s site data can remove local work and sign you out. Someone using the same browser profile may be able to see that local data.
Photos and deletion
Published photos are resized and re-encoded, stripping embedded metadata such as location tags. Your original file on your device is not modified. Photos are stored through Supabase and served according to the associated post’s visibility.
Deleting a post hides it from the app and starts cleanup of its stored photo. Cleanup can take longer if a storage operation fails. Reports can retain a private copy of reported content for moderation even after the original post is deleted.
Outside services and embedded content
Images, links and players from Blizzard, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit and X can contact those services while you browse. Their privacy policies apply to requests they receive; an embed may load before you press Play.
The current app has no dedicated first-party analytics integration. That does not mean browsing creates no records: authentication, storage and hosting providers may process operational data such as request details, IP addresses and error logs.
Reports and account requests
Reports and moderation evidence are available to authorized operators so they can investigate and record decisions. We do not promise immediate or automatic removal in response to a report.
Contact Kyle to request access, correction or deletion of account information. There is currently no self-service full-account deletion button. Ownership verification may be needed, and we will explain any information retained for moderation or operational reasons. Signing out or disconnecting Battle.net is not full-account deletion.
Contacting us
The contact page prepares a draft in your email app; it does not submit a message to WoW Scroll. Once you send that email, Kyle and the email providers involved receive the information you include.
